Hey guys!!
Its been a whileee since my last post because I've been so busy with finals for school and then the start of summer came with so many things and activities to do with friends and family. Anyway, through all that I've come up with 3 of my favorite things during the month of may that I've been consistently using (or eating), lol.
The first is this perfume. I can NOT tell you how many time I've been complimented on the way I smell everytime I hug someone. I'm literally ALWAYS being told that I smell good or yummy, I'm not kidding. My nieces tell me that I smell like cupcakes (what?), but others tell me that I smell sweet and good. I'm a huuuge fan of vanilla perfumes and this is like the perfect one for me. Fancy by Jessica Simpson is blend of caramel, vanilla, amber, and some musk. Which explains why I smell like a cupcake to some people. Anyway, this scent has become a favorite of mine and though I love scents like this for the winter because of its very warm tones, I carried it into spring because I felt like it was light enough to basically wear year-round. Check this perfume out, its divine! Especially if you want people telling you that you smell awesome like all the time. A similar perfume to this would be Prada Candy.
My next favorite is the Country Chic Body Butter from Bath & Body Works. I have super dry skin which is so annoying so I need things like body butter that can give me intense moisture. I love the body butters from Bath & Body because they're really thick, but once it's blended into your skin it doesn't feel greasy and it feels light. I especially love the Country Chic fragrance because it's a beautiful, light, airy floral scent that is so spring/summertime. It lingers on your skin which is awesome because it's a light scent but it has staying power (stayingpower? lol).
My last favorite for the month of May are these Chobani yogurtsss. Everyone knows that I'm a crazed fan for all things Chobani and I absolutely fell in LOVE with these Chobani flips. It's packaged with one side of flavored greek yogurt and the flip side has some delicious and healthy toppings to add in. My favorite has to be the Key Lime Crumble, it is sooo yummy and refreshing, especially for summer days. Now I want to make a key lime pie, maybe I will ;)

Favorite Everyday Mascara
Hey guys! Its been a while since my last post, school has really been killing me and my schedule is a mess for this semster. Anyhoo, today I've decided to do a post on my favorite everyday mascara. I love using Loreal's Voluminous False Fiber Lashes. First off the packaging is so sleek and i love the black and gold combination, I think its so gorgeous and luxurious looking.
Back to the point, I only need to use one coat of this mascara to get some gorgeous lashes. It lengthens my lashes with the "false fibers" and really makes my lashes look so much thicker than they are. It creates these little tubes on each lash and really lengthens them. If you really want to amp it up, I recommend curling your lashes before applying. As you can see in the photo, one coat gives me a good every look for my lashes. I love this mascara, it's definitely earned a spot in my favorites list.
Cleaning the mascara off isn't too bad either, I absolutely hate taking makeup off but this mascara doesn't bother me in that area. Sometimes I use a makeup wipe, just one does the trick to get this mascara and any eyeliner off. I am going to repurchase this mascara once this tube is done!

Pond's Rejuveness Moisturizer/Cream
Im not one who cares much for face moisturizers. I have normal to dry skin that needs just a little bit of loving. I usually put on any face moisturizer I can find in the morning so that my face doesn't fall off from dryness, but I've never found the ONE moisturizer that i absolutely loved. Well, until now. I bought home the Pond's Rejuveness for my mom since its an anti-wrinkle cream and she loves cream moisturizers. One night, I was in my mom's room and decided to try this on. I put some of it on my face and went to sleep and totally forgot about it.
The next morning when I woke up, my skin felt amazing! It was so soft and soo hydrated. When I looked in the mirror my skin actually looked firmer and so hydrated, it looked plump. Not like the kind of plump where my face looks like I've been eating way too much pasta no, more like the kind where your skin looks fresh, smooth and healthy with elasticity. I decided to inspect the jar of this wonder cream. It contains alpha hydroxy acids that smooths and brightens the skin, and collagen which is essential for skin elasticity and firmness.
I know I'm only 20, so why am I using my mother's anti-wrinkle cream? ( I actually bought one for myself now :) Well, to start off, I think its totally fine to prevent wrinkles from an early age so that they don't make appearances until wayyy later. This isn't some heavy duty wrinkle cream, its just a moisturizer that I prefer and just happens to battle wrinkles & that is totally fine with me. Its a pretty thick cream which is why I love using it at night before I go to sleep. I feel like at night is when it does its magic.
Since the cold and nasty winter hit, Ive been sometimes using it in the day too because it is very very hydrating and moisturizing. It has this fragrance that smells kind of like powder. I'm not a fan of the fragrance but I definitely don't hate it either. The fragrance is also not light, but it's not overpowering either. Ive gotten used to it so I barely notice it anymore. It takes a while to set into the skin, so I like to give it a minute or two. Its not oily and it doesn't clog your pores, and it doesn't break me out either. I've got pretty good skin that rarely breaks out, so those with acne prone skin may or may not have a problem in this area. I've been loving this stuff, and it goes such a long way because its thick and you don't need a lot to get moisturized, smooth skin. Definitely worth a try if your'e interested!

What I'm Loving Wednesday
When the winter time comes around, I'm all about hibernating and cocooning and looking as ratchet as possible. But I could care less because I'm all about comfort. Since it doesn't get that cold in Florida, I usually throw on a cardigan and I'm good to go. Black cardigans are a must for me. My brother got me a lightweight knit cardigan from cotton on and I'm in love with it. So is my mom but I don't let her wear it because I'm always wearing it :)
I can not stop wearing this cardigan. It is so comfortable and lightweight and the quality is amazing. It also is really long and is kind of oversized, so it has the comfy look to it.
Another thing I've been wearing nonstop are my fuzzy socks. I don't wear socks. At all. But when it gets cold, my fuzzy socks come on and they don't come off until the cold goes away. I usually get the long ones and the really colorful ones because black is just too boring for me. I have the ones from target which are really comfortable and the best part? They're inexpensive! I don't know about you guys, but I always stock up on my fuzzy socks. They're the only thing I look forward to during the cold.

What I'm Loving Wednesday
I have been having an obsession with midi-rings. I never thought they were that great, but one day I tried on a couple and I magically fell in love with these tiny rings that sit atop your knuckles. I purchased a couple from Charlotte Russe & Forever 21. They sell plenty of them there, and I'm pretty sure other similar girly stores sell them as well. I think they're perfect for dressing up your hand on lazy days, especially when I'm running out the door to school. I'm a big fan of typing up all my notes at school and I love how cute my midi rings look when I'm typing away ( I know, I'm so weird). They also make great gifts since they're small and inexpensive, you can buy a couple for one person. They also come with cutest designs ever, I've even seen ones with tiny dinosaurs! I love the look of these and even though they may have been the trend of 2013, I don't mind carrying it over.
During a previous trip to Bath & Body Works, I picked up a body spray in the scent Sensual Amber. Since winter is SO far from being over :(it is snowing heavily as I type this), I decided to try sensual Amber because it smells very warm and snuggly. Its a very feminine and mature scent. I'm very into warm vanilla-like scents. This has more amber than vanilla, but I still love it. It also has a blend of florals and some fruit giving it that sweet, feminine quality. I usually use my Paris Amour perfume from B&BW which is definitely my signature scent, I use it ALL the time. Since I started using the Sensual Amber body spray, people have been noticing it on me and constantly ask what I'm wearing. My mom's best friend loved the scent and I made a mental note to pick one up for her. I'm really loving this scent right now and it reminds me of warmth, which is so perfect for the cold and never ending winter. I might even pick this up in the perfume version, even though the body spray is pretty darn strong and lasting.

What I'm Loving Wednesday
I had a hard time deciding what I should post for this weeks what I'm loving wednesday, only because I don't really have favorites and very rarely do I like something for a long period of time. I'm actually a very picky person yet I'm also very simple. But I finally narrowed it down and figured out just exactly what I'm loving this week.
The first thing is my Lacoste (I say La'coast' but apparently it's La'cost') Touch of Pink perfume. My brother got me this for my 16th birthday and I have been loving using it this past fall and winter. It is a really sexy scent, which I prefer when the weather gets colder. It's also very intense and musky but it still is very feminine which I love. I'm not good at describing scents but to me, it smells like a combination of floral scents that are fresh yet still make a statement. This is perfect if you are into musky scents that have the perfect amount of floral freshness. I reach for this perfume every time I go out and it honestly makes me feel more confident.

The next thing I have been loving this past week is my Naked juices. I've been drinking these nonstop and I love them so much. They are these all natural juice smoothies, basically a blend of a bunch of fruits and/or vegetables. Because it is so thick, I get full just drinking one bottle but I don't feel bad after because I know it's all just fruits and vegetables. Some of the ones I absolutely love and always drink are Berry Blast, Blue Machine, Mighty Mango, Orange Mango (this one is so good!), and Pineapple Mango + Coconut Water.

What I'm Loving Wednesday
If there's one thing people know about me, it's that I have a bad addiction to TV shows. It's a serious issue and its a wonder that I get through my semesters at college without totally flunking. Dont worry, I don't get even near failing. About 2 years ago I somehow, for some ridiculous reason got hooked on to... The Bachelor. Yes I am admitting it, and I am a tad bit ashamed. Before I go any further I'll have you know that I do not think the show allows people to find love or that it actually works. Any person in their right mind that watches this show knows that it is not a normal way to find a partner, nor does it result in long-lasting relationships. I'm mostly in it for the drama, more drama, and Juan Pablo of course. Who is Juan Pablo you ask?
This is Juan Pablo. Need I say more?
On a different note, I have been currently obsessing over my new favorite, Almond Butter. Its like peanut butter, except without the peanuts, so it's perfect for those with peanut allergies! Its healthy, guilt free and really really delicious! My entire family is obsessed with it as well. The one I purchase is called Barney's Butter. It is so creamy, gluten free, no trans fats, and the oil does not separate so no stirring is required. I checked out their website, and they don't just have plain almond butter, no no. They have vanilla bean and cocoa and coconut almond butter flavors too! I usually have almond butter with well... anything I could find. Bagels, bread, croissants, apples, bananas, waffles, pancakes, pretzels. I'll stop there. As you can clearly see, I am beyond obsessed.
